NFL watchers say Taysom Hill is Saints' coach Sean Payton's current favorite to replace Drew Brees as the team's quarterback.
The Saints quarterback battle to replace Brees is currently between four-year veteran Taysom Hill and six-year pro and former Heisman winner Jameis Winston.
According to yesterday's reports, Payton is leaning towards starting Hill despite saying there would be a wide-open competition for the position this fall.
Winston attempted only eleven passes last year while Hill started in place of an injured Brees in four games.
