The New Orleans Pelicans are parting ways with Lonzo Ball after sending him to the Chicago Bulls in a sign-and-trade deal.
On Monday, the team confirmed that Ball will sign a four-year offer sheet with Chicago worth $85 million, with New Orleans receiving Tomas Satoransky, Garrett Temple, and a second-round draft pick in exchange.
The 23-year-old Ball joined the Pelicans as part of the Anthony Davis trade and averaged 14 points, four rebounds, and two steals in 55 games last season.
The Pelicans also traded a 2022 first-round pick to the Hornets to sign point guard Devonte Graham to a 4-year, $47 million deal.
