A long-awaited report by the city's Inspector General's Office is recommending felony charges in connection to the Hard Rock Hotel collapse.

According to information released yesterday, the report on former city inspector Julie Tweeter was turned over to the District Attorney last week.

The report recommends felony charges against Tweeter for falsely claiming to have shown up for inspections at the hotel at least eight times.

The Hard Rock Hotel collapsed in October 2019, killing three people.
