West Feliciana Parish President Kenny Havard says he will not enforce the Governor's mask mandate on businesses and residents.
Havard noted his parish is leading the state in vaccinations, with 67% of the population considered fully vaccinated.
Harvard said by lumping the state into one mandate, Edwards is penalizing areas that are doing the right thing to combat COVID-19.
Harvard added that he is fully vaccinated and is encouraging everyone to get the vaccines.
