Brennan's Father Says Arm Injury Occurred While Preparing For Fishing Trip

The father of LSU quarterback Myles Brennan says his son injured his left arm in a freak accident while getting ready for a fishing trip.

Owen Brennan spoke about his son's injury yesterday, saying it happened when Myles tripped while holding fishing gear and could not brace himself.

Mr. Brennan said his son went to bed thinking it was just a bruise but realized the injury was more severe the next day.

After surgery, the quarterback has a metal plate and screws in his arm but is expected to run drills with his uninjured throwing arm in a few weeks.
