The Inspector General's Office is recommending more felony charges in connection to the Hard Rock Hotel collapse.

On Wednesday, the IG told the New Orleans District Attorney that former city building inspectors Eric Treadway and Thomas Dwyer should be charged with felonies.

Officials are recommending Treadway and Dwyer be charged with filing false public records and malfeasance in office.

Charges have also been recommended against former inspector Julie Tweeter for the hotel's collapse in October 2019 that killed three people.
