Infectious disease experts are urging people who have already contracted and recovered from COVID-19 to still get vaccinated.
Over the weekend, Ochsner Health Director of Infection Control Dr. Katherine Baumgarten said naturally produced antibodies might not stop the new Delta and Lambda variants.
Dr. Baumgarten said the vaccines give a broader range of immunity, and that's why they are still recommending vaccines for everyone.
