State health officials said Thursday COVID-19 hospitalizations in Louisiana crept up to 2,901 Thursday, an increase of just six overnight.
There were 386 patients on ventilators, 13 more than Wednesday.
The Louisiana Department of Health also reported 5,268 new COVID-19 cases.
The death toll rose by 54 to 11,462.
On the vaccination front, LDH said 48,324 doses were given since Monday.
