The Louisiana Department of Health recorded 13,239 new cases of COVID-19 since last Friday.
Hospitalizations rose to 2,956, their highest point since the pandemic began, with 417 patients on ventilators.
The death toll from the coronavirus increased by 65 to 11,584.
LDH said 84,721 vaccine doses were administered since last Thursday.
