Kicker Brett Maher's time in a Saints uniform is over after only a week following the team cutting him after the first preseason game.
The Saints announced several moves ahead of the NFL's deadline to cut rosters down from 90 to 85 players.
Maher was signed by New Orleans on August 9th to replace injured starter Wil Lutz and played in the Saints loss to Baltimore, where he made both of his extra-point attempts.
New Orleans also parted ways with veterans Prince Amukamara and Noah Spence.
