The Louisiana Department of Health reported 3,013 hospitalizations due to COVID-19 Thursday, down ten from the previous day's record high.
LDH also reported 5,550 new cases of the coronavirus statewide, with the death toll rising by 58 to 11,851.
There were 65,309 doses of COVID-19 vaccines given since Monday.
