Louisiana State Employees Should Expect To Be Required To Get Vaccinated

Administration Commissioner Jay Dardenne is alerting state employees that they could be subject to COVID-19 vaccine and testing requirements.

Dardenne spoke yesterday after the FDA gave full approval of the COVID-19 vaccine produced by Pfizer.

According to Dardenne, those who refuse to get vaccinated may be required to participate in a regular COVID-19 testing program.

Gov. Edwards said to expect a final decision on vaccine mandates in the coming weeks.
