New Orleans Public Schools says more than 4,000 students and staff are currently under COVID-19 quarantine.
Officials said yesterday that just over 360 students and staff were exposed to COVID-19 during the first full week of school, requiring them to be quarantined.
The District said there are 453 active cases of COVID-19 across its schools, which is up from 299 the previous week.
The largest number of quarantined students are at KIPP Leadership School with 308, followed by KIPP Morial with 301, and Arthur Ashe Charter School with 294.
