LSU students have until September 10th to either get the coronavirus vaccine or formally opt out of the shot.
School President William F. Tate the Fourth told students today they'll also have to be fully vaccinated by October 15.
There will be multiple places on campus to get the inoculation.
People can opt out by going to the LSU Student Health Center Patient Portal.
The mandate was put in place after the FDA gave the Pfizer vaccine full approval.
Students and faculty who choose to not receive the vaccine will have to be tested for COVID-19 on a regular basis.
