Jefferson Parish Schools has a tentative timeline for re-opening following Hurricane Ida.
The school system, the largest in the state, will open in phases.
The first phase is September 20, second September 24 and third on October 1.
The tiered reopening is due to the amount of damage schools sustained by the storm.
