St. Bernard school officials are welcoming their students back today, two weeks after Hurricane Ida passed through.
St. Tammany Parish schools reopen today as well, along with most schools in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
Most New Orleans public schools will reopen between Wednesday of this week and Wednesday of next week.
In Jefferson Parish, the state's largest school district suffered differing levels of damage. Some schools resume classes a week from today, but most won't reopen until next month.
