Phase two continues today and Saturday for families affected by Hurricane Ida to register for help from the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
Residents whose last names start with A-Z in Ascension, Assumption, Iberville, Jefferson, Livingston, Plaquemines, St. Helena, lower St. Martin, St. Mary and Tangipahoa parishes can register for DSNAP today and tomorrow if they didn't earlier in the week.
Officials say there have been long waits caused by people trying to call in on the wrong day.
