New Orleans' COVID vaccine mandate will stay in place through Mardi Gras.
A city spokesperson says the successful Krewe of BOO! Parade shows it's possible to safely host large events. Almost everyone who attended or took part in the parade had gotten the shot.
People will have to either show proof of inoculation or a recent negative test to enter indoor locations.
