A Terrebonne Parish woman is providing blankets to people left homeless by Hurricane Ida.

Janice Hamilton says there are still people living in tents, in their cars, and under their houses, nearly three months after Ida.

Hamilton's initiative called Blankets for the Bayous delivers blankets to people who don't have roofs over their heads.

Hamilton has sewn and delivered more than 400 blankets, and donations are coming in from nationwide.

She says she'll keep it up until everybody is home for the holidays.
