Cruise ship traffic in and out of the Port of New Orleans continues despite warnings from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The federal agency is urging people not take cruises at this time because the risk for coronavirus infection on cruise ships is very high.
Many passengers arriving in New Orleans on Sunday said they hadn't heard of the CDC's alert because they'd been at sea for a week.
Some departing passengers said they were aware of the warning, but it was too late for them to cancel without a penalty.
