The New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board is looking for another power partner in a deal to keep drainage pumps working in flood emergencies.

Executive Director Ghassan Korban told SW&B members last week a $30 million deal with Entergy New Orleans fell through.

Entergy tells The Times-Picayune it could get back involved in the project if the utility's finances are stabilized.

Entergy New Orleans saw its credit rating drop after Hurricane Ida hit last year.
