Civil rights activists are calling for the resignation of Governor John Bel Edwards over questions surrounding the death of a black man in state police custody.

In 2019, Ronald Greene led troopers on a high-speed pursuit.

Police reports claim Greene died in a crash at the end of the chase but an FBI autopsy called that claim into question.

Leaked bodycam video shows officers roughing Greene up.

Edwards claims he didn't know about the officers' actions at the time, but a text from the state police reportedly told him what had happened.
