A murder suspect is dead following a shooting involving U.S. Marshals and New Orleans police.
The 22-year-old died this morning while officers attempted to serve a warrant at an apartment complex in Central City.
NOPD Deputy Superintendent Christopher Goodly says the suspect, considered a "high risk warrant", was carrying a long rifle but isn't sure if he fired upon police.
