The crowds are coming for Mardi Gras this year.
New Orleans hotels aren't yet back to pre-pandemic capacity, but business is definitely looking up.
Hotels in the area are reporting 80% occupancy for the Mardi Gras weekend.
NOPD is getting ready, too, but with fewer hands on deck this time around.
They have just over 1,000 officers in a department that needs about 1,600.
