The Coast Guard is searching for a passenger who went overboard from a cruise ship in the Gulf of Mexico.
Passengers say the 32-year-old woman jumped off the Carnival Valor on Wednesday afternoon about 150 miles off the Louisiana coast.
The ship had left Cozumel about a day earlier.
The woman had reportedly been involved in an earlier disturbance.
A Carnival spokesperson tells FOX 8 that, despite earlier reports, the woman was not placed in handcuffs.
Coast Guard aircraft are assisting in the search.
The cruise ship docked in New Orleans Thursday morning.
