Three Arrested In Fatal Shooting Of Ehret High Student Walking To Bus Stop

Three teens are in custody and accused of the fatal shooting of a John Ehret High School student earlier this week.

Jefferson Parish deputies say 16-year-old Ahmad Howard was killed in Marrero on Monday morning as he was walking to a bus stop on Betty Street.

On Tuesday, deputies announced the arrests of 18-year-old twin brothers Davon and Daveon Gilmore and an unnamed 17-year-old.

The three are charged with second-degree murder.

Daveon Gilmore also faces unrelated charges for reportedly shooting at a home in Marrero last August.
