Protestors and several lawmakers are expressing their displeasure with the state's new electoral redistricting maps.

Demonstrators chanted outside the Governor's Mansion on Wednesday, trying to pressure Gov. John Bel Edwards into vetoing the maps.

Opponents say the maps should have added at least one more majority-black congressional district to reflect the state's current demographics.

The NAACP and other groups say they've already prepared lawsuits in case Edwards doesn't veto the maps.
