A Louisiana lawmaker is considering a bill to make sure homeowners associations don't interfere with the constitutional right to privacy.
State Rep. Paul Hollis, a Covington Republican, says a three-year battle with a snoopy neighbor prompted him to replace his six-foot fence with an eight-foot fence.
The neighborhood homeowners association threatened Hollis with a lien as a result.
Hollis has written a bill for the upcoming legislative session to keep HOA rules and regulations from infringing on the right to privacy.
