After a month of mobile sports betting, the big winner seems to be Louisiana itself.

Officials say the State has collected more than $16 million from legalized online sports gambling, a number that was fueled by the Super Bowl

Chairman of the Louisiana Gaming Control Board Ronnie Johns says about $211 million worth of bets were placed on mobile sites alone during the big game

Johns said 25% of the taxes on sports betting will go to early childhood education in Louisiana.
