Gas prices appear to be stabilizing in New Orleans, at least for now.
GasBuddy.com is reporting the current average for a gallon of regular unleaded in the city is $4.17, unchanged from a week ago.
Patrick De Haan with GasBuddy says that while it may be short-lived, the brief reprieve from the massive surge in gas prices since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in late-February is much-needed.
