LSU is hiring the reigning Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year as its new men's basketball coach.
Multiple reports say Matt McMahon will take over the Tigers team which fired Will Wade earlier this month.
McMahon comes to LSU from Murray State which was just eliminated from the NCAA tournament.
Wade was fired after the school was told by the NCAA about potential recruiting violations.
