Woman Arrested For Firing Shot That Killed French Quarter Bar Employee

A woman is under arrest for reportedly firing a stray bullet that killed a Bourbon Street nightclub employee early Sunday.

Police say Charles Hudson, 46, was in the Cat's Meow karaoke bar on Bourbon Street when a shot fired from outside hit him in the chest around 2 a.m.

Officers arrested Daphney Jackson, 24, shortly after 8 a.m. on charges of manslaughter, discharging a weapon during a violent crime, and obstruction of justice.
