Officials are identifying a man who was killed when a tornado hit St. Bernard Parish as 25-year-old Connor Lambert.
Neighbors say they saw Lambert pull his truck into his driveway just before the storm plowed through the neighborhood.
A few minutes later, the tornado had blown Lambert's house away.
Lambert is remembered as a National Merit Scholar and a star football player at Chalmette High School.
He graduated UL Lafayette with an engineering degree and worked for NASA at the Stennis Space Center.
