The American Civil Liberties Union is joining the NAACP in its lawsuit over Louisiana's new congressional map.
The groups say the map violates the Voting Rights Act of 1965 by not adding another minority-majority district.
Gov. John Bel Edwards says he vetoed the map earlier this month because of the lack of a second black district.
The state Legislature overturned his veto on Wednesday.
