The Louisiana Department of Health is honoring the state's Army National Guard for their help during the pandemic over the past two years.
Guard members have performed more than 90,000 coronavirus tests and administered more than 30,000 vaccinations.
LDH Assistant Secretary Kimberly Hood on Thursday praised the selflessness of the people in uniform who have helped the state make it through the worst of the pandemic.
