Another Cantrell Adviser Leaves

Another adviser to New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell is stepping down.

Strategic Initiatives Director Joshua Cox left the mayor's office last month telling The Times-Picayune he needs a new challenge.

Cox was subpoenaed by the City Council over the scuttled smart city program.

He was also heavily involved in gun violence prevention work and the New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund.
