New Orleans Police are looking for several high-profile suspects involved in illegal street stunts over the weekend.

In several places around town, traffic was blocked, cars did burnouts, spectators crowded around, and some people pulled out guns.

City officials say some groups came from out of town, possibly from Baton Rouge, for what they referred to on social media as a takeover of the city streets.

NOPD Chief Shaun Ferguson says he wants to arrest participants for aggravated obstruction of a highway, which is a felony.

Police are also looking for the following vehicles:

  • A red 2013 Chevrolet Camaro convertible bearing Louisiana license plate 462EMO, registered to Darrion Williams of New Orleans, LA
  • A red 2015 Dodge Challenger bearing Louisiana license plate 462EMO, registered to Samaher F. Barakat and Ali Ibrahim Khalil of Kenner, LA
  • A white 2012 Chevrolet Camaro with black top and bearing Louisiana license plate 469FGO, registered to Dalton Allen of New Orleans, LA
  • A white 2017 Ford Mustang GT bearing an unknown Louisiana license plate, registered to Jashawn Shavers of Baker, LA
