A new bug museum is under construction on the New Orleans Riverfront alongside the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas.
The Audubon Insectarium is being moved from its former home in the old U.S. Customs building on Canal Street.
A renovation in progress at the aquarium will cost $34 million.
Another $7 million will go to upgrade entrances, landscaping, and the electrical system at the adjacent Woldenberg Park.
