The AAA Weekend Gas Watch on Friday put the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded in Louisiana at $4.52, up 21 cents from last week and $1.80 year-over-year.
In the New Orleans area, the average price for regular stood at $4.50, also up 21 cents from last week and $1.81 more than last year.
It was a similar story for Baton Rouge drivers, where the average price rose 20 cents from last week to land at $4.48.
