U.S. Marshals are reporting the results of Operation North Star, an anti-crime effort they carried out in New Orleans and nine other cities nationwide.
In the greater New Orleans metro area, the marshals arrested 164 fugitives wanted for murder, sexual assault and robbery.
They also seized 46 guns, a pile of narcotics, and $36,000 in cash.
The U.S. Marshals say Operation North Star is concluded, but they plan to keep working with New Orleans police to fight crime.
