Six incarcerated juveniles who escaped from the Bridge City Center for Youth early Sunday are all back in custody.
Officials say five were recaptured soon after escaping, and a 17-year-old was later captured at the end of a police chase.
The Office of Juvenile Justice says the six juveniles escaped at about 2:30 a.m.
The escape was at least the fifth breakout from the Bridge City center since last November. During that time, at least 20 juvenile inmates are have escaped the lockup.
Nearby residents say they're getting fed up.
Security upgrades are planned for Bridge City, which will move inmates to the Jetson Correctional Center in Baker during the renovations.
