Abortion is still legal in Louisiana for now.

Judge Donald Johnson of the 19th Judicial Court on Monday extended a temporary restraining order through today that blocks the state ban on abortions.

Judge Johnson asked the Louisiana Attorney General's Office to present more information to him by this morning. At that time, he'll decide whether to extend the TRO for a longer period.

Until a ruling is made, the TRO will stay in place, allowing the state's three abortion clinics to remain in operation.
