An online death threat against Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams is under investigation.
The threat was apparently made yesterday although Louisiana State Police declined to discuss its nature.
Williams is currently on trial accused of federal tax fraud.
A source tells The Times-Picayune the Democrat wore a bulletproof vest when he left his house for the courthouse this morning.
