Louisiana To Spend $130 Million On Broadband Expansion

Louisiana is going to be spending $130 million to expand broadband to rural areas.

Gov. John Bel Edwards announced the program today saying it will help eliminate the digital divide.

The plan is to help 50 parishes get access to affordable internet. Edwards said it would benefit over 66,000 households and small businesses.
