Louisiana Transgender Athlete Ban Goes Into Effect

Louisiana is now the latest state to ban transgender athletes from competing on girls sports teams.

The law goes into effect today.

Gov. John Bel Edwards decided against using his veto power this year, citing a Republican super-majority in the state legislature.
