Gov. John Bel Edwards is heading to Europe today for an exchange of ideas about flood control.
Edwards is leading a delegation of state and business leaders to the Netherlands and France.
Representatives from the Port of New Orleans, the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, Louisiana Economic Development, and other agencies are joining him.
They plan to study flood control solutions in the two countries that may be useful in Louisiana, as well as sharing Louisiana-based expertise.
The delegation returns Sunday, August 14.
