It's back to school on Tuesday at South Terrebonne High School even though the main building is still damaged by Hurricane Ida.

Classes will be held in temporary modular buildings on the campus.

School officials expect about 830 students to return to school for the first time in almost a year, down from the usual enrollment of about 1,000.

The leased temporary buildings will be removed once the main building is repaired to the point that it can house classes.
