Poll: More Than Half Of Voters Support Cantrell Recall

A new poll shows more than half of the registered voters in New Orleans are in favor of recalling Mayor LaToya Cantrell.

A political scientist and pollster from Edgewater Research, joined by the developer of a campaign canvassing app, conducted the robocall poll.

Of the more than 400 registered voters who responded, more than 55% said yes to Cantrell's recall, 37% said no, and about 8% said they didn't know.

The biggest issue for supporters of the recall is violent crime in the city.
