A nun abducted in West Africa five months ago is back home in Kenner.

A group of armed men kidnapped Sister Suellen Tennyson one night in April from a home in Burkina Faso. She wasn't physically harmed, but was held hostage for months.

Tennyson was finally released peacefully into the custody of the FBI, the Air Force, and personnel of the U.S. Embassy. No ransom was paid.

Sister Suellen returned to Louisiana on August 31. Archbishop Gregory Aymond says her release is a miracle.
