Candidates Announce Entry Into Louisiana Attorney General Race

Three candidates are running for the office of Louisiana attorney general.

State Rep. John Stefanski, a Republican from Crowley, was the first to announce his candidacy.

Another Republican in the race is Solicitor General Liz Murrill, already the second-in-command at the attorney general's office.

John Belton, the third candidate in the race, is the district attorney in the Monroe area. He's running as an independent.

All three candidates are campaigning on a law and order message.
